As Soon As Publishable (ASAP) articles
With the launch of the new site, Chinese Journal of Oceanology and Limnology (CJOL) is making its journal articles available on the new site prior to these articles being printed. This program is called ASAP (As Soon As Publishable).
Articles will be posted on the website after passing peer-review. Such articles are available in PDF formats with a unique DOI, and are identical in content to the corresponding print copy, citable and accessible via Internet, except no typesetting, page, and issue numbers.
Readers who interested in the articles can also score and comment them, and help detect possible plagiarism or academic misconducts.
Before the final version is published and printed, it is suggested to use "in press" in the reference list when an ASAP article is cited.
